ITINERARY
Day 1 | Pinamar – Gesell – Querandí Lighthouse
We get ready to depart around 10 a.m. to begin the first leg of the tour. We take Route 11 from downtown Pinamar and head toward Villa Gesell. After about 30 minutes on the road, we park the vehicles and begin the ride at around 12 p.m.
We explore the coastal path of Gesell and continue through Mar de las Pampas, Mar Azul, and finally reach Playa Querandí, where we visit the iconic Querandí Lighthouse.
Later in the afternoon, we ride back to where the vehicles are parked and return to Pinamar to enjoy an afternoon snack by the sea.
Day 2 | Pinamar – Cariló – Costa Esmeralda
After breakfast at the hotel, we get ready to leave around 10 a.m. We head north of Pinamar, riding through its forests until we reach the border, then return along the coast until we reconnect with the pavement that leads us to Cariló and its famous Enchanted Forest. This forest is mainly made up of Maritime Pines but also includes Acacias and Aromos.
Our goal is to reach Costa Esmeralda, the newest coastal town, founded in 2004, where we will have our lunch. In the afternoon, we return to the hotel in Pinamar for a sunset snack by the sea, weather permitting.
Day 3 | Pinamar – Juancho Train Station
We start the last stage of the tour early to make the most of the day, cycling by 8:30 a.m. We begin by crossing the Pinamar forest to reach the coast, then follow Avenida del Mar through Cariló. After crossing Route 11, we head onto a rural path leading to the Juancho Train Station—an old, disused but well-preserved station.
This station was part of the line that connected Buenos Aires, Villa Gesell, and Ostende. If time allows, we will have lunch at the station before heading back for a final mountain bike ride along the coast. After the ride, we share the last snack together. End of the tour.
